He doesn't get teleported. An 18 would normally hit, but I'm fairly certain I spied a fumble in there...so instead of causing damage to those around you or yourself, the attack is going to miss...

Turn Summary
The party surges forward and the gnolls begin to falter, falling to the desperate fury of the adventurers. At a nod from Sigismund the Raven Knights push themselves into the fray, one dismounting to help Kavak. As the Kngiht's sword connects with the gnoll Kavak feels a freezing shock, as if he had been plunged into a frozen lake, that leaves him feeling refreshed.

Sigismund himself bows his head and grips a raven symbol hanging from his neck. The whisper of black wings surrounds him as he continues chanting.
