(Recruiting) Possible podcast stuff

I'm turning my idea on another thread to its own on Tondi's suggestion. Hopefully to draw some interest. Here's my ideas:

Option 1
Bringing the Sexy back to the World's sexyest podcast:
D&D 3.5 using the Book of Erotic Fantasy, Naughty and Dice, Sisters of Rapture, Black Tokyo, Chastity and Depravity. This campaign is also going to be more... evil than normal. With alignments restricted to:
Neutral
Chaotic neutral
Lawful evil
Neutral evil
Each character will be linked to the church of Asmodeus in some way. I already have the first adventure lined up. It will be the hunt for the Ancient Ebony One-eyed trouser snake.


Option 2:
Dungeons: The Dragoning

It's a well put together system (because it's stolen)
It has a great setting (thats stolen)
It can do any RP style than most other popular RPGs can do (because it stole them all)
I really like this ruleset, and think it has potential to be a great system to play in, even though it's pretty much a parody game.


Option 3:
Not-so-sexy 3.5
Yeah, not as exciting as searching for trouser snakes. But I do want to focus more on RP than on combats. You may also notice a great lack of 4E in my options... sorry.
This idea will be more community based and driven by meta-plot than by "go kill monsters and take thier stuff. Smaller xp rewards for fights, larger rewards for social aspects, using skills and such.

I'll check again with my own RL group (who are addicted to 4e, so showed little interest in what I had before, but may as well try again right?) I'll also check my CoH guild again (yes, I've been scouting my MMO contacts for RPs)

Haha. Nice. So we're going to be evil? I don't mind. Although I might be more chaotic neutral than evil. The character idea I had in mind would definitely not count as being goody two shoes. But I wouldn't say he's all bad. By the way, I'm confused as to how allies works. Mainly because...ok if i have followers they're just minion weaklings I'm guessing. Like guards, maids, etc. But what if I want an ally to be my servant. Cause I was thinking of giving him wealth, followers or holdings, and allies. With the allies being his main staff of maids who of course have their own peculiarities.

Haven't been able to ask anyone yet. But one of them I know would ask what day since he's still away at college.

Okay, I couldn't get ahold of my RL group at all. My CoH group also haven't comitted, though they seem interested, save for being "too shy to talk" which for a group that's as sexy about how we RP is a little wierd.

My PC has rejected 2 skype recorders thus far. I need something free, any suggestions.

I've been having a /whole/ lot of trouble finding a good skype recorder. I thought I had one the other day, but I was wrong. I need to get through these technical issues, and find a good recorder. I found one that seperates the tracks (whos talking, and records them in a format I don't recognise, and have no idea how to put back together and swich to MP3 format

So yeah, I'm going to keep looking, and testing, and seeing what works. I'll give Audacity a try though.

Well audacity's problem is that it only records whatever is going into your mic so you won't be able to get the other voices unless you let the sound come through your speakers. But you can save it in mp3 format. Thats why we had to send the mp3 files to our "sound editor" so he can put them together. Using audacity as well I think. And my friends don't have any idea either as to what would be a good skype recorder.

Well, even without the recording, it is still possible to run adventures and such until I can find a good program to use. Would you like to just play with no recording for a bit?

The big question is what would we like to do as a "normal" game? D&D? Palladium? Rogue trader? Is there anything you'd like to try out? If we go for Tuesday or Wednesday, that'll give me a couple days to read rules and come up with something.
